As we enter the 35th week of pregancy, preparations wane as the wait begins.
And so in these times of pause, I took some time to research what kinds of traits our children could have. I mean, what would thousands of years of observation related to the birth-calendar say about the children of a Buddist/biochemist and a experiential-spirtualist/artist-trapped-in-a-property-manager's-existance? In a nod to western and eastern frames, I'll take a little time for both.
The twins appear to be Aquarius, an air sign. Our kids (this is funny) may have good communication skills, be sociable, and have little tact as they pursue their idealist, utopian desires for the improvement of humanity.
They might like dreams and magic, change and eccentricity, suprises and fame, tempered with privacy and like for self... all with frugality.
Their dislikes could be for emotion, intimacy, show-offs, being taken for granted, being "pinned down", violence, or senseless extravagence.
Currently, we are in the chinese year of the male fire dog. Traits include loyalty, honesty, and obedience. They can be socially and emotionally distant, but do well in one-on-one relationships and find happieness in helping others find happiness. They can also be eccentric, a bit stubborn, and have sharp toungues. I guess they make excellent, inspriational leaders. Other famous Dogs include Benjamin Franklin and Mother Teresa. But, I'm also trying not to giggle when I think of "hot dogs".
If the girls make it past 2/17/07, they will be in the year of the Female Fire Pig. Not too flatering at first thought, but apparently they're lucky and mild-tempered, like Ronald Regan and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Well, at least it is something to take the mind off cleaning milk-puke at 3am.
